After their very well received second album Grand Mal, the Zagreb based indie rock band And The Kid are pushing to the next level releasing their new single Back To Trees.

Electronic beats and the intimate sound of acoustic guitar in the background are a sign of what`s to come in the band`s future. Back To Trees is a soul shaking ballad, with it's final touch coming with the guest appeareance of Lovely Quinces and her powerfull vocals.

"This song was written quite a long time ago. It was always here, but was never realized in any way, live or in studio. During the recording of our second album, we thought it would be cool to make a duet. Right away Lovely Quinces was the most obvious choice so we asked her if she could sing a few lines and she said yes. We never got to do this at the time, and the whole thing was kind of forgotten and put away. But this time, we got really exciting plans for the album, so we said let's call her up again, record it, but in a diffeent manner. The whole thing is electronic now, except the acoustic guitar. It was all recorded in a day, a very productive one, but our producer Leonard Klaić was just starting. He came back with an astonishing song, a fantastic arrangement. That sound is a little teaser for what's to come from us in the future. The album is, by the way, in production, but still very long way out."

The song was produced by one of the best young Croatian music producers Leonard Klaić, and the video is a work of a Croatian artist Nikolina Pavleković.
