Our first LP “Chasing the Basics” is, among other things, an instrumental journey; it starts wherever you want it to start and it can take you anywhere you want (or don’t want) to go. Kick back and enjoy the ride.

The road towards finally finishing this album was a long one. Originally, it was imagined to be a continuation of our first EP “Session 4.” and the whole story that sort of created itself around it. However, the album gave birth to a story of its own. We leave it to the listener to unravel its mysteries.

Influences from all sides shaped and moulded the sound we created. From the early 70’s prog rock pioneers to the post rock gutter’s new twist to the world of music, and all sorts of things in between, we managed to gather details, moments, scenes and notes. There was a lot of euphoria, given the fact that we managed to create a song per rehearsal (at least the first version of the song) and there was this overall sense of achievement every time we would lay our instruments to rest. Frenetic rhythms, distorted sounds, dreamy melodies and atmospheres, and just a pinch of good old classical music – this is what you’ll find when you start Chasing the Basics through the cosmos.
